We’ve introduced powerful template capabilities to enhance your messaging experience in the HubSpot Embedded Chat view:
Simply press / when the text area is empty to open the template selector, similar to the Shared Inbox view. Only templates available to the current user will be displayed.
Templates with file attachments now seamlessly display attached files, just like regular file attachments.
Note templates variables are not supported yet in HubSpot. Coming soon!
For users composing messages in languages like Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, or Urdu, we’ve added automatic RTL support to make communication smoother: message text automatically shifts to RTL while editing or displaying when RTL characters are detected.
Chats opened in the HubSpot Chat View are automatically marked as read, with an action history entry created for the TL user who read it, labeled "via HubSpot."
Suspended users are restricted from accessing chats, with an error displayed when launching the Embedded Chat View.
Error messages for sending messages via disconnected accounts are now clearer and more actionable.
Connecting to HubSpot in a new TL workspace with the same user in the same organization will automatically disconnect the original connection.

Customizable Chat Interface: Adjust the position of the WhatsApp Chat View in the HubSpot sidebar to suit your workflow preferences. Customize the layout for both Contacts and Deals to ensure seamless access to conversations.
Role-Based Access Control: User permissions for the WhatsApp Chat View are aligned with roles defined in TimelinesAI. Owners, Admins, Teammates, and Agents have varying levels of access, ensuring that team members interact with WhatsApp communications appropriately.

You can now sync messages from group chats to existing contacts in HubSpot without needing to auto-create new contacts. Instead, group chats are strictly matched by name, not phone number, for automatic linking to existing contacts and deals. Users can also copy the group chat name directly from the chat view page.
Upon a successful match:
If multiple contacts share the name, the most recently updated one is selected.
The group JID is placed in the "Phone" field to support sending messages via Custom Action, without overwriting existing values.
Custom action "Send message" was upgraded to send messages in groups:
When messages are synced from group chats, the group's JID is placed in the "Phone Number" field and displayed in its raw, unformatted form.
When the custom action is executed, messages are sent to the JID stored in the contact's "Phone Number" field for group chats.
This feature lets you choose both a pipeline and a stage for automatic deal creation. If "Deal auto-creation" is turned off, the option stays hidden.
By default, the first pipeline in your HubSpot setup is shown as "Default pipeline," but you can select any available pipeline and stage from a dropdown menu.
If changes are made in HubSpot, you can easily reload the list of pipelines and stages to ensure you're working with the latest options.
This feature allows automatic updating of the contact and deal owner in HubSpot when the chat responsible person changes in TL.
An integration setting, "Update contact and deal owner when chat assignment changes," is available (off by default). When enabled and a new person is assigned to a chat in TimelinesAI Shared Inbox , the following updates occur:
The contact owner is updated if there is a matching HubSpot user based on email.
If the contact has linked deals, the owner of the most recent deal (with recent activity or synced messages) is also updated.
Messages and attachments will now be imported in real-time and grouped daily as Activities. The "Synchronization frequency" setting has been removed, so you no longer need to select it.
Activity formatting has been enhanced for better readability and more useful information, with emphasized distinction between the sender and receiver.
Now displays the correct error message when the "Send message using owner's WhatsApp account" workflow action fails to run due to contacts or deals missing an assigned owner.
