HubSpot Chat View - Templates and Improvements
Template Support in Embedded Chat View
We’ve introduced powerful template capabilities to enhance your messaging experience in the HubSpot Embedded Chat view:
Simply press

when the text area is empty to open the template selector, similar to the Shared Inbox view. Only templates available to the current user will be displayed.Templates with file attachments now seamlessly display attached files, just like regular file attachments.
Note templates variables are not supported yet in HubSpot. Coming soon!
Automatic RTL (Right-to-Left) Support
For users composing messages in languages like Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, or Urdu, we’ve added automatic RTL support to make communication smoother: message text automatically shifts to RTL while editing or displaying when RTL characters are detected.
Additional Improvements
Chats opened in the HubSpot Chat View are automatically marked as read, with an action history entry created for the TL user who read it, labeled "via HubSpot."
Suspended users are restricted from accessing chats, with an error displayed when launching the Embedded Chat View.

We are excited to present the WhatsApp Chat View feature within our HubSpot integration. This enhancement enables users to manage WhatsApp communications directly from HubSpot's Contact and Deal records, streamlining interactions and improving efficiency.

Initiate New WhatsApp Conversations: Start WhatsApp chats with contacts directly from HubSpot. Select the contact's phone number and choose the connected WhatsApp account to send messages from.
View and Continue Existing Chats: Access the complete history of WhatsApp conversations in TimelinesAI within HubSpot. Messages sent and received are synchronized in real-time between HubSpot, TimelinesAI, and WhatsApp.

HubSpot Integration: Group Chat Sync and messaging, Pipeline Selection and Automatic Owner Updates
Sync group chats to contacts by name
You can now sync messages from group chats to existing contacts in HubSpot without needing to auto-create new contacts. Instead, group chats are strictly matched by name, not phone number, for automatic linking to existing contacts and deals. Users can also copy the group chat name directly from the chat view page.
Upon a successful match:
If multiple contacts share the name, the most recently updated one is selected.
The group JID is placed in the "Phone" field to support sending messages via Custom Action, without overwriting existing values.
Sending messages to groups via custom actions
Custom action "Send message" was upgraded to send messages in groups:
When messages are synced from group chats, the group's JID is placed in the "Phone Number" field and displayed in its raw, unformatted form.
When the custom action is executed, messages are sent to the JID stored in the contact's "Phone Number" field for group chats.
Pipeline and Stage Selection for Deal Auto-Creation
This feature lets you choose both a pipeline and a stage for automatic deal creation. If "Deal auto-creation" is turned off, the option stays hidden.
By default, the first pipeline in your HubSpot setup is shown as "Default pipeline," but you can select any available pipeline and stage from a dropdown menu.
If changes are made in HubSpot, you can easily reload the list of pipelines and stages to ensure you're working with the latest options.
Automatic Contact and Deal Owner Update
This feature allows automatic updating of the contact and deal owner in HubSpot when the chat responsible person changes in TL.
An integration setting, "Update contact and deal owner when chat assignment changes," is available (off by default). When enabled and a new person is assigned to a chat in TimelinesAI Shared Inbox , the following updates occur:
The contact owner is updated if there is a matching HubSpot user based on email.
If the contact has linked deals, the owner of the most recent deal (with recent activity or synced messages) is also updated.
Hubspot - Real-Time messages syncing improvement
Messages and attachments will now be imported in real-time and grouped daily as Activities. The "Synchronization frequency" setting has been removed, so you no longer need to select it.
Activity formatting has been enhanced for better readability and more useful information, with emphasized distinction between the sender and receiver.
Now displays the correct error message when the "Send message using owner's WhatsApp account" workflow action fails to run due to contacts or deals missing an assigned owner.

Monday: Message Sync to Board Items
Our new Monday Automation recipe allows you to sync WhatsApp messages directly as updates to board items, making it easier than ever to keep your team informed and responsive to real-time conversations.
WhatsApp Account Selection: Updates can be configured to come from a specific WhatsApp account or any account in the workspace.
Phone Column Selection: a column containing phone numbers must be selected to match chats to items.
Message Syncing: Messages (text and attachments) are added as separate updates to the corresponding board items. Each update is formatted with the sender's name, message timestamp, and content, ensuring that information is easy to follow. Attachments are fully supported and seamlessly integrated within the Monday updates section entries for in-context viewing.
Autoresponder
The "Autoresponder" feature in TimelinesAI enables automated responses to WhatsApp chats, including greeting messages and options for contacts to choose from, automatic assignment of chats to team members, chat labeling, handling of invalid selections, and messages for customers not attended by an agent in a timely manner. It also allows for auto-response in inactive chats after a set period and offers a simulation function to test settings before going live. This feature requires an active subscription, a connected WhatsApp account, and sufficient mass-sending quota.

"Send message" Automation for Monday integration
Our Monday integration has been enhanced to support automated messaging through the "Send a message to a phone number when the status of an item changes" template. This feature enables users to craft personalized messages by incorporating any item fields. Additionally, users have the flexibility to choose a connected WhatsApp account as the sender. Contacts limit replaced by Active Chats limit
The former "Contacts limit," which was a global cap of 10,000 contacts across all plans for each workspace, has now been replaced by an Active Chats limit.
Here are the key changes:
Only chats with a non-empty chat history will be counted towards this limit.
The Active Chats limit is determined based on the number of seats in your workspace: the more seats you have, the higher the limit.
All existing workspaces will automatically retain the original global limit of 10,000 active chats if this number is higher than the new calculated limit.
If your workspace exceeds this limit, you can increase it by contacting support and purchasing the necessary amount of active chats.
Additional changes and improvements
A new Public API endpoint, "GET api/chats/{chat_id}/messages," has been added. It retrieves the message history of a chat, with options to filter by incoming/outgoing messages and by specific date ranges.
Enhancements to Public API endpoints that provide message details: a "from_me" indicator has been included to easily identify incoming versus outgoing messages.
Improvements to Public API endpoints that provide chat details: "last_message_uid" has been added, so that it will be possible to retrieve message details by subsequent API call.
New filtering options have been introduced in filter views to help organize chats: you can now filter chats by the date of the last message and also distinguish inactive chats (chats that have empty message history).
Fixed an issue with the email notification sent when the new message webhook is disabled due to exceeding the maximum number of errors on the receiving end.

This feature replaces and extends "Archive" / "Unarchive" functionality.

Built-in "All chats" view will now display "closed" chats as well. Create additional filter views to organize your "open" / "closed" conversations according to your work process.

Public API
