HubSpot Chat View - Templates and Improvements

Template Support in Embedded Chat View

We’ve introduced powerful template capabilities to enhance your messaging experience in the HubSpot Embedded Chat view:

  • Simply press / when the text area is empty to open the template selector, similar to the Shared Inbox view. Only templates available to the current user will be displayed.

  • Templates with file attachments now seamlessly display attached files, just like regular file attachments.

Note templates variables are not supported yet in HubSpot. Coming soon!

Automatic RTL (Right-to-Left) Support

For users composing messages in languages like Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, or Urdu, we’ve added automatic RTL support to make communication smoother: message text automatically shifts to RTL while editing or displaying when RTL characters are detected.

Additional Improvements

  • Chats opened in the HubSpot Chat View are automatically marked as read, with an action history entry created for the TL user who read it, labeled "via HubSpot."

  • Suspended users are restricted from accessing chats, with an error displayed when launching the Embedded Chat View.

  • Error messages for sending messages via disconnected accounts are now clearer and more actionable.

  • Connecting to HubSpot in a new TL workspace with the same user in the same organization will automatically disconnect the original connection.

  • Various minor fixes and stability improvements enhance overall platform performance.
